Labor passed strong, science-backed emissions reduction targets into law.

But now, the LNP is threatening to tear it all down.

Queensland’s LNP Energy Minister has refused to commit to the 2035 target — and the government has already moved to repeal our renewable energy goals.

Instead of delivering certainty, investment and action, the LNP is walking away from bipartisan agreements and undermining climate progress when we need it most.

Let’s be clear: backing away from these targets is a risk to our economy, our jobs, and our way of life.
